The first one I ordered the valve was stuck shut, so I submitted a exchange and called to make sure and they sent a new one pretty fast. Since it has a valve actuator that needs to be swapped over the actuator isn’t straightforward. They don’t tell you to make sure it’s in the right position electronically before you match up the valve to the actuator that it changes position when you turn the car off. At least that’s my understanding it’s still in the shop.

Love the sound on the Gen 5 Ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi (no etorque). Its agressive and you will notice a difference. Makes your Ram come alive, faster overall acceleration and punchy off the line. Sound is similar to a Ram TRX or a Challenger Redeye. Downside, the fit isnt very good and it will not fit exactly without a shop modifying the tip sections to fit the bumber cut outs and may still be off 90 on the tilt to where the logo is not squared up due to the way it has to be bolted together or the approach may be off a little. The black tips hide this and makes it less noticeable but with shiny polished chrome it may be more noticeable.

The muffler sits about 1/8" from the passenger frame rail which ain't great, and somehow the hanger on the passenger side tailpipe was welded on at a 90 degree angle from the hanger; the OEM hanger is horizontal but on just the Borla passenger tailpipe it points forward. That was somebody's last job of the day. I realized that too late, don't want to take it all off and ship it back, and bought some bailing wire for now. I would still buy it again. Install was pretty easy. Buy some hanger pliers. My truck has 5 hangers and the two holding up the muffler really suck. You can remove the old exhaust without cutting if you remove the spare tire shields. Takes some wiggling and turning to get it out. Would be very easy if you backed onto some ramps or jack up the rear end. It's not as loud as I was afraid of. I've been told my studded snow tires are all you can hear at 50', idling around my neighborhood at 15mph.

Loved it. The only bad thing was they could of kept the hat and put a 27 dollar clamp in it instead.

I've been a Borla fan for a long time now and this particular exhaust doesn't disappoint. Borla is always a bit more expensive than other vendors but the build quality, sound, and lack of drone while cruising is worth the extra dough. I actually bought this kit for my 2021 Durango Hellcat (Borla has been delaying the release of their new kit for the Durango Hellcat for some time and I heard this kit worked). I had some fitment issues on the left side rear tailpipe/tip but got it resolved by a local performance mod shop. Looks great, sounds great, and now I can drive my kids to grandmas without them wearing ear protection.

These pipes give my Hemi the rumble it deserves. Tailpipes look good. However, the right tail pipe was bent in. I had to find a local shop to straighten it. Looks good now, sounds great!

I bought the borla atak system amd installed , overall a good fit and finish . However , for me the atak was just to loud for me amd my neighbors and ultimately had to buy the S resonators to quit it down. Now I’m very happy with the sound and my purchase , but not until having to spend an additional $500. LoL.
