Holley offers LS swap 4WD truck off-road oil pan baffles for a variety of trucks, including many Chevy and GMC models from the 1970s and '80s. They take Holley's popular cast aluminum oil pans (P/N 302-4 and 302-4BK) designed to swap LS engines into K10s and other trucks to a whole new level. Vehicles that endure prolonged sessions of climbing, crawling, braking, turning, and accelerating need extra protection from oil starvation. That's where these baffle kits come in. They improve upon the baffle included with those pans, maintain proper oil level at the oil pump pick-up during vehicle elevation and grade changes, accelerations, both lateral and linear, and braking. This prevents loss of engine oil pressure during off-road excursions as well as during hard acceleration. Each baffle is fabricated from sheet aluminum joined by TIG-welded joints. Directionally positioned one-way trap doors allow oil flow toward the oil pump pick-up but not away.
