Power bands start as low as 1,800 rpm with a small carb and climb all the way to 8,800 rpm with a big one.

Offenhauser's dual quad high-rise manifolds take the best of the company's 360 degree Equa-Flow technology and double it. Each 4-barrel sits on top of its own split plenum, which feeds straight, tapered runners that dive directly from the plenum to the intake ports. This results in extremely even, efficient cylinder filling, which eliminates flat spots and produces hefty power bands, starting as low as 1,800 rpm and running as high as 8,800 rpm. Edelbrock Performer series and Carter AFB carburetors are recommended. Some applications cannot mount Holleys in any manner.

It's possible to mount the big Holley 4500 on a number of Offenhauser manifolds with a special adapter. However, 360 Degree Equa-Flow Single Quad 4500 High-Rise intake manifolds are designed from the beginning specifically to fit the Dominator.
