UMI Performance 1978-88 GM G-Body Brake Conversion Brackets

UMI brake conversion brackets are designed to mount 1997-2013 C5 or C6 front calipers and rotors to the 1978-88 GM G-Body factory spindle. Conversion brackets are CNC laser-cut from 3/8 in. thick mild steel and feature a heavy-duty black powdercoat finish. Each kit includes Grade 10.9 mounting hardware and complete detailed installation instructions. The instructions include a detailed list of GM part numbers needed to complete the brake grade upgrade. Note, 17 in. wheels are needed for C5 brakes, and 18 in. wheels for C6. As with all UMI Performance products, these brackets are 100 percent manufactured, tested, and raced out of Philipsburg, PA. Classic Instruments 1978-88 G-Body Gauge Sets

Classic Instruments' 1978-88 Chevy G-Body direct-fit packages are all-electric clusters featuring a speedometer, tachometer, clock, and fuel, oil, temp, and volt gauges in an OE style. These instruments are available either with or without gear position indicator, and with or without overdrive gear indicator for use with any transmission. Hybrid LED lighting offers the feel of the original perimeter lighting and the visual benefits of back-lighting: even illumination and clear nighttime readability. Turn signals and high beam indicators are in the original locations, and each kit includes new check engine and high beam sockets with LED bulbs. Additional indicator bulbs are available for purchase. These kits also include: a wiring harness, push-button speedometer calibration for ease of setup, a new acrylic lens, and built-in ECM signal filter switch. Save space with Classic Instruments' Zeus Speedometer Technology built-in, meaning the cluster requires no external control boxes and works directly with ECM or VSS signals. The fuel gauge is programmable for any ohm range with a selector switch on the back of the cluster, meaning the fuel gauge will work with the stock sending unit, any other factory sending units, or any Classic Instruments fuel sending unit. UMI Performance 1978-88 GM G-Body brake conversion kits include laser-cut UMI conversion brackets, lightweight aluminum hubs, and premium bearings—everything needed to adapt the C5/C6 abutment brackets, calipers, and rotors to the G-Body spindles. The hub features 5 x 4 1/2 and 5 x 4 3/4 bolt patterns and is intended to face mount the C5/C6 brake rotor in exact factory location (front track width is unaffected). Each kit includes premium bearing cups and cones, along with the correct rawhide seal for great performance and reliability. These conversion kits are the choice for UMI's Green Machine and have been thoroughly tested to withstand road race and Auto-X competition. They fit a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles from the 1970s and '80s.
