ICT Billet DFM DOD Delete Plug Kits
ICT Billet DFM DOD delete plug kits contain performance parts for newer GM Gen 5 L84/L87 5.3L/6.2L engines (2019+). They eliminate the factory Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM) system by plugging the oil passages in the engine block. This allows for a traditional lifter setup, better performance, and consistent cylinder firing by removing the complex solenoid system—requiring an ECU tune to disable the DFM function. Chevrolet Performance Stock Replacement Non-DOD Camshafts
If you're looking for a cost-effective camshaft solution to delete that pesky DOD—Chevrolet Performance stock replacement non-DOD camshafts are the answer. They're designed to work with OEM valve springs/pushrods in the DOD-equipped Gen 4 trucks. These OEM camshafts are standard equipment on non-DOD 5.3L trucks. Since they come as a single-bolt style, new timing gear won't be necessary. Just swap cams and additional DOD delete parts (sold separately) and you're ready to roll! A fairly stock truck shouldn't require dyno tuning; however, the DOD system must be disabled in ECU for proper functionality. It is advised to consult with your tuner for more information. These AFM (active fuel management) or MDS (multi-displacement system) delete combos include a variety of components to help complete the changeover.
