Wilwood D154-R Single Piston Lightweight Calipers
Wilwood D154-R single piston lightweight calipers start with a forged aluminum Type III hard anodized body with stainless steel piston and then have excess material removed to reduce weight without hurting strength. They offer a choice of 2.000 in. or 2.500 in. piston and they fit rotors from .810 in. to 1.040 in. thickness up to 12.19 in. diameter. The fluid inlet port is centered directly behind the piston and eliminates any interference with slide pins. Wilwood D154-R designs lower the deflection rate and has higher volumetric efficiency than heavier cast models. The D154-R calipers with the 2.500 in. piston weighs only 3.3 pounds and uses standard metric D154 pads.
