Drag Race Solutions one-piece top expansion portions are machined with female straight O-ring port in the front--allowing you to use the fitting size you need for your application. The tops are bolted to O-ringed seal base plates with stainless steel cap screws. Plus, being racers themselves, they spent ample design time on radiator cap fit to ensure pressure seal and locking mechanism work as well as possible for your extreme racing conditions. A 1/4 in. push lock overflow fitting is included. UMI Performance Stage 5 Front Suspension Packages
UMI Performance Stage 5 front suspension packages provide a solid foundation for your strip car with occasional street duty. UMI's dual tube K-member is known as the strongest in its class—and can withstand wheel stand landings and street abuse while still shaving weight, as well as protecting the oil pan. The rod end upper and lower A-arms reduce friction and unsprung weight while ensuring super-quick weight transfer. These K-members and A-arms are built from strong DOM tubing, precision-bent, CNC-notched and welded in a jig to form a solid base. Upper and lower A-arms are assembled with PTFE-lined race quality rod ends and premium ball joints. The included adjustable A-arms offer strength, weight reduction, reduced friction, and alignment adjustments when needed. Increased caster for straight-line stability can be achieved very easily with this bolt-in system. Stage 5 includes Viking A226 bearing-mounted front coilovers with double adjustable shocks that allow ride height, compression, and rebound adjustment. The A226s feature bearing ends in place of polyurethane for friction reduction, improved response, and longer lasting performance. Ride height adjustment is accomplished with the included spanner wrenches and thrust washers; while the compression and rebound adjusters are clicked by hand—and feature a total of 361 possible valving combinations. The included springs are 300 lbs./in. and work perfectly on drag race applications and vehicles with front-end weight reduction. The UMI Performance Stage 5 front suspension package is found under many F-body drag cars with single-digit ETs.
