Improved Racing Oil Pan Baffles
Proper oil pan baffling is critical for improving oil control and reducing oil starvation in high performance engines. Improved Racing oil pan baffles provide effective, track-proven protection against oil starvation for road racing, drifting, autocross, drag racing, and even off-roading and rock crawling. The baffles use trap doors to keep oil around the pickup tube and provide vastly improved oil control over the stock baffles. They are sufficient to prevent oil pressure drops at up to 1.4 sustained lateral Gs in most vehicles. Even semi-dry sump systems suffer from oil aeration when the pickup tube in the oil pan sucks up air, aerates the oil, and fills the dry sump tank with foamy oil. Foamy oil is compressible and results in oil pressure drops when pumped into the engine. Improved Racing baffles help keep more oil around the pickup tube in the oil pan, reducing oil aeration and improving oil pressure. Painless Performance 21-circuit direct-fit Jeep CJ harnesses are fully grounded for use with fiberglass Jeep bodies. Almost every circuit on these 3-section harnesses are pre-terminated at both ends. Painless uses an OEM-style bulkhead connector that attaches to the bulkhead without any special brackets or modifications. The blade-type fuse block wiring is factory terminated and machine crimped. Each wire is custom printed with the circuit identification as well as using factory color codes for easy installation. These harnesses are not equipped for computer controls, nor is it engine specific.
