When standard OE pins just won't do, use Sonnax extra-long Servo pin and seal kits to get the job done right! The Sonnax 4L60/4L60-E servo pin is longer than the longest OE pin. The pins extra length simplifies adjustment, eliminating the need for having to add length to the pin, itself. The Servo pins are made from chromoly steel, so they're durable for high performance applications as well as stock replacement. Dual PTFE seals have been added to improve sealing in the case bore and as well as an O-ring to improve sealing between pin and the 2nd gear Servo. Since the GM 4L60 (700-R4) and 4L60-E Series transmissions were introduced, they have had inadequate metering of 2nd gear band servo release oil resulting in 3-4 clutch pack failure. The 3-4 clutch pack and 2nd gear band are just not properly synchronized.
