Wilson Manifolds high-flow throttle bodies were developed using the latest computer modeling software and test equipment available to produce designs that yield the maximum flow per square inch of cross-sectional area. These units are designed to work with Wilson's line of billet spacers—they incorporate a tapered and radiused throttle bore, along with precisely machined progressive linkage, for smooth throttle operation. They also feature inward-opening throttle blades to eliminate directional influence caused by the blades. All throttle bodies are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum on precision CNC machining centers for consistent quality and light weight. Most models feature brass throttle blades to control vibration and reduce thermal expansion. The throttle shafts are machined to decrease their cross-sectional area, which increases the actual cross-section available for airflow. Holley offers EFI Hi-Ram intake manifolds for a variety of applications, including many vehicles from the 1950s, '60s, '70s, and '80s with a Chevy small block Gen I engine. Fuel rail kits are provided and have mounting for both long and short type fuel injectors. These manifolds offer the performance potential and the appearance of professionally prepared billet and fabricated racing intake manifolds at the affordable price of a cast-aluminum product.
