MSD high-current solid state relay blocks take the place of four standard relays and eliminates unsightly wiring. Four independent channels can be activated using either power or ground. Each channel is capable of handling up to 35 amps of continuous current, providing up to 140 amps of power, and also has the capability of pulse width modulation. The blocks can easily be mounted using the supplied hardware and mounting tabs that can be rotated 90 degrees to accommodate various mounting locations. Racepak SmartWire kits are fully programmable power distribution modules, capable of controlling 30 outputs (on/off switching) and 12 inputs (switch-activated) on any type of 12–16 VAC systems. Fuses, relays, and solenoids are eliminated, instead controlled through solid-state switching inside the housing. Current outputs and switching inputs—along with a nearly unlimited variety of on-off switching functions—are user-programmable through the Racepak DataLink II software. Racepak SmartWire kits can operate in three different modes: * Stand Alone: Power from the battery is connected to the power stud of the SmartWire. Outputs to each device in the vehicle are connected to one of two 15-pin connectors; output currents and related requirements are programmed via connection of the SmartWire to the user's PC. Switching off and on of the devices is handled through inputs on the 15-pin connectors or optional SwitchPanel or SwitchModule. * In conjunction with Racepak V-Net sensors: Want to automatically turn on a radiator fan, but only when the water temperature is above 190 degrees? Add a Racepak V-Net water temperature sensor to the vehicle, connect it to the V-Net port of the SmartWire, and program it through use of a PC connected to the SmartWire. * In conjunction with a Racepak V-Net data logger: This allows the SmartWire to be connected to the single V-Net T cable, which transmits all sensor data to the data logger. They "borrow" the sensor data to trigger devices based on desired programmed settings. A Power Distribution Module is just like a mechanical fuse and relay box, but smarter. Like a fuse block, it has a main power input and outputs that turn devices on or off, but unlike a conventional fuse block, there are no mechanical contacts and no physical fuses to blow. Haltech PD16 PDMs boast innovative, yet user-friendly technology; designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing Haltech Elite or Nexus engine management system, and ensure safe, dependable power delivery to your vehicle. All the on and off switching is done with solid-state drivers and fuse currents are set digitally by the end-user. Caspers Electronics' new-design plug and play Hi-Lo fan controllers install easily on the PWM-controlled coolant fan found on C6 Corvettes. The factory coolant fan is powerful and incorporates a solid-state controller instead of relays (as in previous years and models). These Hi-Lo fan controllers interface with the factory controllers and permit manual coolant fan control. Caspers Electronics Hi-Lo fan controllers simply plug into the fan connector and include a round rocker switch that matches similar design control switches found in the console. Using this switch allows the vehicle operator to manually override the ECU control of the coolant fan to force-cool the engine, even when the car is unattended and not running. These control modules are designed to be plugged in between the sealed fan connector and its mate. These modules are completely sealed from moisture and contaminants and incorporate three sealed connectors. Caspers Electronics Hi-Lo fan controllers require a 20mm mounting hole to be drilled and have three switch positions--Low, which is half-speed fan control, Normal, which is controlled by the car's ECU, and High, which is maximum coolant fan speed. This gives the driver complete control over engine cooling. The switch can override fan control unattended, even with no key in the ignition.

Melling timing chain sets are designed for use with either performance or stock cams. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. The crank gears are machined from stress-proof steel. Most Melling timing chain sets have three keyways to ensure accurate timing for early or late model vehicles, and to allow you to set the cam timing at 4 degrees advanced, 4 degrees retarded, or stock.
