Offering industry-leading spark energy output in a compact and efficient package, the Ultra 7AL includes four step retards, three rev limits and two rpm-activated switch outputs. The Ultra 7AL also features two different power output settings that can be used for on-the-fly changes which are perfect for drag-and-drive applications. All features are adjusted using plug-in modules including the 3-step rev control and multi-step retard. The rev control gives you the ability to set one rev limit for the burnout, another for the staging rpm limit and a third for use top end engine protection in the event of driveline failure. Steeda aluminum rack bushings adjust both the Ackerman angle and bump steer geometry for better steering response, quicker cornering, and more stability. The aluminum bushings replace the factory rubber bushings that mount the steering rack to the front crossmember, eliminating the deflection of the rubber mounts. They have a reversible flange design and can be installed in two different ways, giving the installer the choice of maintaining the factory Ackerman geometry or increasing the Ackerman to quicken turn-in and reduce tire scrub in sharp corners. The offset bolt hole in the bushings moves the steering rack up on the crossmember to correct bump steer geometry on cars with suspension modifications such as increased caster, X2 ball joints, or aftermarket K-members. These systems capture every pulse-quickening element of their racing exhaust system into one you can put on your Milwaukee-Eight Road Glide or other Touring model as part of your own performance bagger build. Constructed of lightweight, high-grade 304 stainless steel, the hand TIG-welded headers step from 1.75 in. to 1.875 in. to 2.0 in. and feed into the same oversized collector used on the race system.
