MSD Ultra 6A Ignition Boxes
MSD Ultra 6A Series ignition boxes continue to use a high-speed controller that can make extremely quick compensations to the output voltage, multiple spark series, timing and rpm limits—while maintaining precise timing and accurate rev limiting. The circuits and controller of the MSD have been thoroughly filtered to create protection against Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI). The Ultra 6A Series features a capacitive discharge ignition design. The majority of stock ignition systems are inductive ignitions. In an inductive ignition, the coil must store and step up the voltage to maximum strength in between each firing. At higher rpm, since there is less time to charge the coil to full capacity, the voltage falls short of reaching maximum energy—which results in a loss of power or top end miss. MSD 6TN/6ALN NASCAR CD Ignitions
These MSD 6TN and 6ALN ignitions are the ultimate choices for superior performance in harsh racing conditions. With sturdy vibration mounts and CD circuits encased in a clear 2-part silicone elastomer, they are virtually vibration-proof. A specially designed, weathertight, 6-pin connector meets NASCAR's 20-6.1 ignition wiring rule and provides a tight, positive-locking connection with individual seals to keep dirt and moisture from each connection. The 6TNs are equipped with a special 4-pin connector that plugs directly into an MSD soft touch rev control, while the 6ALNs have a built-in rev control. These rev controls are adjustable with plug-in modules and will save your engine from overrev damage caused by missed shifts or driveline failures. They'll work with virtually any 4, 6 (even-fire V6 only), or 8-cylinder engines.

MSD Super HEI Kits
MSD Super HEI kits solve the common problem of power loss and a lack of response above 4,500 rpm. Different kits are available with all of them allowing you to remove or bypass the low-powered HEI module and coil and replace them with an MSD 6A or 6AL ignition control and Blaster 2 high output coil. The results are more power, an increased rpm range, easier starting, and better mileage and performance. The Super HEI conversion fits all GM V8 engines with the GM HEI internal coil distributor. The complete Super HEI kits include an MSD 6A ignition, Blaster 2 coil, coil wire, HEI dust cover, and coil bracket. The HEI II kits are identical to the standard kits, except that they come with a 6AL ignition. The 6AL has Soft Touch Rev Control to protect your engine from overrevving.

Summit Racing™ Ignition Box Mounting Brackets
We've come up with an innovative way to mount a variety of ignition boxes and coils securely on any flat surface using our Summit Racing™ ignition box mounting brackets. Designed to fit our SUM-850610 and SUM-850620 boxes or a number of MSD 6 series boxes. They accept our SUM-850500 coil and the MSD 8207 Blaster SS coil, or add the optional SUM-01-2602 bracket to mount a traditional canister coil. Crafted in the USA from 6061 aluminum with a durable anodized black finish, the brackets mount box and coil, all in one unit. Stainless steel bracket hardware is included.
