These lifters are for use with the newly designed Hydraulic Roller Cam Series from COMP Cams—or as replacements for stock hydraulic roller lifters. You must be certain that the lifter is correct for the type of block used, because some later model blocks require special lifter designs. Order the model tailored for your engine application.

COMP Cams HRT Stage 1 camshafts use the newest and most advanced lobe designs in order to produce some of the highest average power and torque available. The "Low Shock Technology" features lobe profiles designed to maximize horsepower while improving stability at higher engine speeds. These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss. COMP Cams HRT camshafts receive the Micro Surface Enhancement (MSE) finishing process as a standard feature, which increases strength and performance by reducing surface peak roughness and provides a 250 percent improvement in the effective load bearing area, allowing for much higher loads. All HRT Stage 1 camshafts do not require upgraded valve springs.

COMP Cams Evolution Series Hydraulic Roller Lifters
COMP Cams Evolution Series hydraulic roller lifters with Hydraulic Cartridge Technology (HCT) are revolutionary patented tappets. A combination of a self-contained hydraulic cartridge within a thick-wall lifter body and accompanying reduced oil volume that is less effected by oil aeration delivers the most consistent bleed rates between each lifter on the market. The smaller volume within the hydraulic cartridge creates one of the most responsive and quietest lifters on the market today. Startup noise is greatly reduced, and a precision-controlled bleed down rate ensures excellent performance at high RPM. The cartridge design also allows for an incredibly stiff lifter body, greatly reducing body distortion and further ensuring consistent hydraulic performance. The patented HCT tappets are a completely new design that was developed specifically by COMP Cams to meet the demanding performance and durability required for modern street and performance street engines. COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum Rocker Arms
Utilizing years of valvetrain design experience, the latest FEA stress analysis technology, and an exhaustive testing regiment (dyno and Spintron), COMP Cams engineering team left no detail to chance. Everything from casting techniques to valve spring clearance was scrutinized to ensure that Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms not only lived up to the lofty standards of their predecessor, but also took stud mount rocker performance, stability, and value to a whole new level. The most noticeable advancement centers around their nearly unbreakable investment cast 8650 chromoly body. The arched, web-like design delivers a nearly 29 percent increase in strength and rigidity, while reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance. The resulting rockers maximize lift and valvetrain control at high rpm. The increased retainer and valve spring clearances of the new design enable the use of large-diameter valve springs, retainers, and locks, without clearance or fitment issues. The new black oxide exterior finish offers a distinctive appearance, along with long-term corrosion resistance. The COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms feature an oversized trunnion and precision-sorted needle bearings designed for use with high-load valve springs. COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi Phaser Camshafts
COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi phaser camshafts utilize Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology to maximize power and performance in stock and street/strip applications. The new Hemi engines from Chrysler are great power plants straight from the factory, with technology that allows the camshafts to move in real time. Instead of scrapping this advanced system, COMP Cams has embraced it with a new line of aftermarket Hemi-specific cams. The patent-pending Hemi phaser camshafts work with phaser limiters or locks to fully utilize Chrysler's Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology, which allows them to pick up torque in the low end of the engine, while maintaining power up high. Made from a billet core, these hydraulic roller cams are engineered tough enough to handle 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi street/strip engines. Their unique, no-springs-required design maintains piston-to-valve clearance, while enabling high performance lobes utilizing VVT, making them perfect for late model Dodge Challengers, Dodge Chargers, Chrysler 300s, Jeeps, Dodge trucks, and Mopar crate engines with VVT. COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi phaser camshafts are available as both custom and three different off-the-shelf grinds, dependent upon engine type, for improved performance over OEM options. Revolutionary COMP Cams XFI AFM GM Gen V camshafts are designed to work with the direct-injection, VVT (variable valve timing), and AFM (active fuel management) lifters featured in GM's Gen V (LT1/L83/L86) V8 engine. COMP Cams 1/2 in. Rocker Stud and Trunnion Retrofit Kits
COMP Cams 1/2 in. rocker stud and trunnion retrofit kits provide a stiffer valvetrain to achieve maximum valve motion in SBC or BBC engine applications utilizing COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum or Ultra Pro Magnum XD rocker arms. They were originally designed for applications competing in the NHRA Stock Eliminator class, but are a great choice for anyone whose sanctioning body's rules do not allow stud girdles. The kits feature 1/2 in. ARP rocker arm studs, 1/2 in. trunnions, 1/2 in. polylocks, new bearings, and new snap rings. They include everything required to switch over to the new studs and freshen and rebuild your rockers at the same time.
