Callies Compstar Connecting Rods
Better by design, Callies Compstar connecting rods offer high performance and a trouble-free engine build. Concerns about out-of-round, big-end bore sizing, repeatability, time-saving details, and upgrade costs are a thing of the past. Their forged 4340 steel rods are put through a lengthy stress-relief process and burnishing of threads and bolt spot faces to ensure dimensional repeatability, no matter how many times rods are torn down and reassembled. Pin bushings are chamfered and honed, parting line edges are generously chamfered, and bearing locating tab slots are deburred, all in an effort to save you time and trouble. ARP 2000 bolts and stroker clearances are standard with Compstar rods. Choose either their original H-beam design or heavy-duty I-beam designed rods. Mahle PowerPak Pistons
Mahle PowerPak pistons are forged pistons with steel pins and wire locks. The pistons are hand-deburred and then coated with dry phosphate to protect against ring micro-welding and pin galling during initial startup. For additional performance, Mahle added its proprietary Grafal anti-friction coating to the piston skirts. Part numbers with T on the end have a cutting edge ceramic-based thermic barrier. The barrier is resistant to thermal shock, insulates the piston crown, and reduces heat transfer to increase performance. These replacement pistons are available in a wide variety of size options for fitment with specific engines and pistons.

Eagle H-Beam Connecting Rods
Free your engine's horsepower on the wings of Eagle H-beam connecting rods. Their 2-piece, forged, vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel construction provides outstanding strength, while still weighing much less than stock rods. Each rod is multi-stage heat-treated, X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, 100 percent machined, and then shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. The rods have precision cap alignment sleeves to positively locate each rod cap, silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models—and are available in stroker models that allow additional cam-to-rod clearance for large stroke combinations. They come standard with 190,000 psi rated ARP 8740 and 230,000 psi rated ARP 2000 rod bolts, or 265,000 psi rated ARP L-19 bolts as upgrades. Instructions and rod bolt lubrication are included. They're packed full of performance features, such as a compact uniform-grain structure for ultimate strength, full machining, stress relieving, and magnafluxing. The wrist pin and big end bores are honed to a +/-.0002 in. tolerance, and the wrist pins get a bronze alloy bushing. These units include cap screw ARP 8740 alloy rod bolts, and each rod set is weight-matched to within 2 grams.
