Building on the features that make the GenX® 255 for GM LS3 great—like 12° valve angles and relocated valves for reduced valve shrouding and improved piston-to-valve clearance—Trick Flow's GenX® 280 cylinder heads withstand the abuse of high horsepower, power-adder performance demanded by today's racers and engine builders. The GenX® 280 heads list of features is long, and it starts with your choice of a HIP'd (Hot Isostatic Pressed) or standard casting. This process significantly increases the casting's density for improved tensile and fatigue strength. It continues with industry leading airflow through CNC Competition Ported 280cc intake ports and Trick-Alloy™ powdered metal valve guides for added longevity. Manley Severe Duty intake valves and your choice of Extreme Duty Inconel or Severe Duty Stainless Steel exhaust valves are designed to withstand the abuse of extreme temperatures and stresses of big power adder applications. Trick Flow® by PAC Racing dual valve springs, titanium retainers, .750-inch thick deck, and 6-bolt-per-cylinder mounting pattern round out the features. Trick Flow® GenX® 280 cylinder heads for GM LS3 work with all LS3 intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies and fit all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. These cylinder heads are available fully assembled or as bare castings. Sold individually. Edelbrock Performer RPM Chrysler Gen III HEMI cylinder heads are bolt-on performance upgrades for Gen III HEMI engines. They are designed to fit with the stock intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover, rockers, spark plugs, and accessories, as well as Hellcat components. The cylinder heads have been machined to be used on either the driver or passenger side of the block. They are cast from A356 aluminum and are heat-treated to T6 specifications. Edelbrock Performer RPM Chrysler Gen III HEMI cylinder heads feature fully CNC-machined combustion chambers, along with CNC-profiled bowls and port entries/exits for improved airflow. They also feature more material in the deck and reinforced combustion chambers for increased cylinder pressures. The rocker bosses have been reinforced for improved stability and strength, and extra material has been added around the intake and exhaust ports to allow for porting in racing applications. Both the intake and exhaust port flanges have remained in the factory location for use with OEM components. The intake and exhaust valves have been tipped away from the bore wall to unshroud the larger valves, while maintaining factory geometry. The seat diameters have also been increased for improved heat transfer and durability over stock.

Trick Flow engineers used the best features of OEM GM LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads, combined with their own race-winning engineering and technology, to create the GenX® 255—the ultimate ultimate square port LS cylinder head for 4.000" and larger bore engines. The heads feature fully CNC Competition Ported runners with a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum airflow and performance potential. Stock LS3 ports accommodate LS3-style intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies. The valve angles have been changed from 15° to 12° to increase piston-to-valve clearance and allow the use of larger camshafts. The coolant holes through the head deck were redesigned to work with all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. GenX 255 heads are available with standard or 6-bolt per cylinder mounting patterns. Trick Flow GenX 255 cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 2007-present GM vehicles with 6.2L engines. They are available fully assembled or as bare castings.
