MagnaFlow Universal Catalytic Converters

MagnaFlow universal catalytic converters by Car Sound form the basic building blocks for many applications. The main benefit of universal catalytic converters is that one unit may cover a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. Installing universal converters often requires the use of welding, cutting, and tube-bending equipment that is readily available to most professional installers. They are extremely well made, with features such as: * A ribbed body that minimizes expansion and distortion when the converter heats up. They form a channel that protects the cushioning mat from direct exposure to exhaust gasses, and hold the ceramic catalyst in proper alignment. * A 1/2 in. lap joint where the necks meet the body. The neck does not extend into the converter body, where it could hamper exhaust flow. * Manufactured with separate dies on different sized inlets. Putting larger neck sizes on smaller bodies would reduce the flow of the converter and the quality of the product. * A monolithic honeycomb catalyst. The ceramic is designed for maximum flow and surface area. The coating method is strictly controlled to maintain exact specifications. * Seam-welded close to the converter body for a strong, tight bond. Welding along the edge could allow the converter to expand like the folds in an accordion, allowing the catalyst to move around. * Heavier-gauge stainless steel, tip-to-tip. They do not use inferior mixed weights and materials. * An aluminized or stainless OEM-style ribbed heat shield that creates a rigid wall of protection against heat and adds to the structural stability of the converter.

Denso Air Filter Elements

With engineering and production facilities all over the globe, Denso is a leading supplier to the world's automakers. That engineering leadership includes air filter technology, which is shared with the aftermarket in the full line of Denso First Time Fit replacement air filters. Denso air filter elements employ three successive layers of filtration media to trap a much wider range of particulate sizes than plain, single-layer media. Precision-molded seals eliminate bypass and ensure a factory-quality fit in the air cleaner housing, making installation a breeze. The air filter is the last line of defense against the harmful airborne abrasives that have been proven to wear out engines before their time. With OE-quality engineering and materials, Denso air filters supply peace of mind. Additional features and benefits of Denso air filter elements include: * Course layer catches large dirt and dust particles * Intermediate layer catches medium-size dirt and dust particles * Fine layer catches fine particles of dirt and dust * Easy installation with a factory-quality fit * Prevents abrasive particulate matter from entering the engine reducing engine wear * Replacing a clogged air filter can improve engine performance

Denso TPMS Sensor Service Kits

Denso TPMS sensor service kits help extend the life of your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors. Over time, these system components can degrade, affecting sensor operation in a bad way. Rebuilding the valve portion ensures an airtight seal and reduces the chance of early sensor replacement. Use these rebuild kits to service your sensors every time a tire is dismounted to ensure safe operation. Denso tire pressure monitoring system sensor service kits include all the necessary parts to rebuild and repair your TPMS components. Note: You may need to visit a trusted repair shop to complete the sensor relearning process and reset the dashboard light.

Denso Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors

Denso air/fuel ratio sensors (A/F sensors) were developed to measure air-to-fuel ratios under a wider range of driving conditions than oxygen sensors. A/F sensors, also known as wide-band oxygen sensors, send information to the engine management computer to make adjustments based on driving conditions. Their wider range and variable adjustments allow engines to burn fuel more efficiently and produce fewer emissions. As A/F sensor technology has evolved, Denso has been there every step of the way. From the first thimble-type sensors to today's heated, quick-response sensors required to meet ever more stringent emissions regulations, Denso has supplied OEMs with quality components and continues to innovate. Denso helped to develop this important technology and you can rely on Denso First Time Fit A/F sensors. Features and benefits of Denso air/fuel ratio sensors include: * Tarnish-proof platinum electrode provides longer life and maintains accuracy * Quick-response planar zirconia element quickly detects oxygen concentration * Measures air/fuel ratios from approximately 12:1 to 19:1 * Increased performance by mapping air/fuel ratios throughout the RPM range * Lower emissions by optimizing the air/fuel mixture * Reduces fuel consumption and maximizes catalytic converter life * First Time Fit design delivers the right part the first time

Denso Oxygen Sensors

Oxygen sensors, also known as Lambda sensors or O2 sensors, are among the most sensitive and critical components on your car's engine. They monitor the air/fuel mixture under idle, moderate acceleration, and cruise conditions. Oxygen sensors have a smaller range of limits in detecting and adjusting the difference from an optimum air/fuel ratio than the newer wide range air/fuel sensors (A/F sensors). Today's engines may use as many as four oxygen sensors to monitor exhaust gas oxygen content and catalytic converter efficiency. In order to perform these functions properly, Denso oxygen sensors adhere to strict OE standards within incredibly close tolerances. A malfunctioning or incorrectly calibrated oxygen sensor can hurt drivability and illuminate the check engine light, resulting in costly and time-consuming repairs. Denso First Time Fit oxygen sensors are designed to meet those tolerances and more. Key features and benefits of Denso Oxygen Sensors include: * Robotic laser welds * Porous PTFE filters block efficiency-robbing contaminants * Double-protection covers maintain proper temperature for quicker response times and protect ceramic elements from silicone and lead fouling * Rugged, watertight stainless steel housings resist corrosion and contamination * Aluminum oxide trap layers keep silicone and lead out, preventing damage to the platinum electrode * Refined zirconia elements improves sensor response * Superior design maximizes engine performance while reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions * First Time Fit design delivers the right part the first time
