Summit Racing™ Pro Hemi automotive camshafts are easy on the valvetrain and stable at high rpms. They work well with superchargers and nitrous, and will require springs, a tune, phaser limiter, and an MDS (multi-displacement system) delete. The smaller cams in this group have a noticeable lope and good power across the range, while the larger cams have a serious lope with strong top-end. Choose the one that best fits your purpose. Notes: * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 1 has a noticeable lope and works great in 5.7L as a daily driver. It makes good power through the range, and a tune and phaser limiter are required. A free flowing aftermarket exhaust is recommended. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 2 has a mild lope and works great in a daily driver. It makes good power through the range, and a tune and phaser limiter are required. A free flowing aftermarket exhaust is recommended. * Pro Hemi automotive Stage 3 has a steady lope and is about the biggest cam to used in a daily driver. It makes great midrange and has good top end. WIX Filters Air Filter Elements
Air filters are too often overlooked. WIX air filter elements play a vital part in preventing foreign particles like soot, carbon, and abrasives from damaging your engine. Even the smallest dust particles can damage cylinder walls, pistons and piston rings and cause premature engine wear. WIX panel air filters provide air with a linear path and low restriction. They have special pocket pleats in the media, held together with specially formulated adhesive. The filter media is framed by a urethane sealing gasket and is supported (when applicable) by a mesh screen, which are both molded in place with the filter element. WIX radial air filters feature a mesh screen on the inside and outside walls for element strength and media protection from backfires. Each filter is held together with heat-resistant plastisol with specially designed seals on the top and bottom walls and an adhesive seal that joins the media ends. WIX air filter elements for medium and heavy-duty trucks use more expensive compounds like silicone, rather than foam or rubber sealing gaskets, in order to assure a proper seal under harsh conditions. Their media feature embossed pleats and pleat stabilization beads that help the filter trap more dirt and last longer. End caps are designed with structure and fit in mind, many with metal end caps with handles, which allow for ease of installation and helps ensure that the filter becomes one with the housing to protect the engine.
