Catco direct-fit catalytic converters feature 409 stainless steel shells, 16-gauge stainless steel pipes and nipples, and a heat-resistant sealed mat—all of which help them to last longer. These Catco units are direct replacements for OE converters and will install with little or no modification. Some converters have steel air tubes with perforated holes to help distribute the airflow evenly, without robbing power. New flanges are included when necessary. A polished or black ceramic coated T304 stainless steel tip with clamp less connection design is included with each kit. Select systems also include a Xtreme Terrain (XT) tip. These turn-down pipes can be installed in place of the standard tip to provide extra ground clearance for treacherous terrain.
