COBB Tuning SF Intake systems remove a pre-turbo restriction in the stock intake system. They provide great power gains when combined with custom mapping on your Accessport tuner. To maintain optimal air flow, SF Intake systems utilize several unique features such as a custom conical cloth air-filter element and a computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-designed velocity stack. Tuned or stock, with the addition of a SF Intake system turbocharger induction noise and bypass valve venting sounds are much more audible. COBB Tuning SF Intakes were designed to be easy to install without having to modify your car. These Steeda boss intake upgrade kits include a larger 101mm replacement MAF housing, a larger intake tube specifically designed to be used with the Boss manifold, silicone sleeves, replacement hose clamps, and a template for modifying your head shield for the larger MAF housing. Due to the larger MAF size over your standard 5.0L GT cold air, specific tuning is required to use these parts. Tunes designed for the original MAF housing are not correct and must be updated.
