ACT Mod-Twin 225 heavy-duty twin-disc street clutch kits are designed to tackle aggressive launches and rapid shifting of high powered AWD's—by combining twice the organic friction surfaces with a no-nonsense solid mono-drive hub in a completely modular design. Each diaphragm spring endures an exclusive 4-stage heat treating process to provide a more consistent light pedal feel. The puck-style friction plates, with high-quality organic materials, deliver high friction coefficient, superior heat capacity, and long clutch life. These friction plates uniformly transfer torque to a mono-drive chromoly hub, which is heat-treated for strength and durability, extending input shaft life with one continuous spline. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and trouble-free service. Clutch kits are available in different styles and other options for fitment on countless vehicles from the early 2000s and up.
