Melling Timing Chain Sets
Melling timing chain sets are designed for use with either performance or stock cams. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. The crank gears are machined from stress-proof steel. Most Melling timing chain sets have three keyways to ensure accurate timing for early or late model vehicles, and to allow you to set the cam timing at 4 degrees advanced, 4 degrees retarded, or stock. However, 50-state (stock replacement) sets have single keyways. The chains are available in several styles, such as single or double roller, single non-roller, and link belt. Dayco standard heater hoses carry the heated coolant from the engine block to the heater core under the dashboard, and return it to the engine. They're made for general service on light trucks and passenger cars. The ultra-durable hoses are constructed using all EPDM compounds, with spiral reinforcement for high burst strength and heat resistance of -40 degrees F (-40 degrees C) to +257 degrees F (+125 degrees C). These black cover hoses are similar to the SAE 20R3, Class D-2, and are specifically designed to be compatible with all common coolants and coolant additives. However, they are not suitable for fuel or oil transfer. Dayco heater hoses are available in a variety of diameters and lengths.
