Kooks Headers long tube headers are heavy-duty and crack-resistant, featuring large diameter stainless steel construction (most applications) with smooth-flowing mandrel-bent tubing. They include gaskets, bolts, and oxygen sensor extensions where required. Also available as kits with connection pipes, depending on the application, Kooks long tube header kits include individual connection pipes, a Y-pipe, X-pipe, or H-pipe to connect to the exhaust system. X-pipes are used primarily for high-rpm performance and race applications. H-pipes create lower end power and are used on street cars for increased performance with a comfortable sound level. These CoolRide systems have the greatest application coverage and versatility of all of RideTech's systems. They will raise and lower the vehicle, improve the handling, and offer a terrific ride. On a front system, the shock is usually relocated to the outboard side of the lower control arm. A weld-on bracket mounts the top of the shock to the frame rail. On a rear system, the air spring and shock absorber will normally go in the stock locations. These CoolRide systems consist of an air spring, a shock absorber, and all of the necessary mounting bracketry and hardware.

These cats feature a ribbed body that minimizes expansion and distortion when the converters heat up. The ribs form a channel that protects the cushioning mat from direct exposure to exhaust gases, and they hold the ceramic catalyst in proper alignment. MagnaFlow converters use a monolithic honeycomb catalyst; the ceramic coating is designed for maximum flow and surface area, and the coating method is strictly controlled to maintain exact specifications.
