Dorman offers cylinder deactivation solenoids, a.k.a. CD manifolds, that have been rigorously engineered to directly replace the original equipment on select vehicles. This design features multiple upgrades to help ensure performance and reliability—such as an increased sealing surface interface, a redesigned rod sub-assembly, and superior quality O-rings and gasket. Durably constructed, the solenoid rod is hardened for improved wear resistance and to help maintain tighter tolerances. Internal bore step incorporates a radius edge to prevent valve sticking for reliable operation.
