Hays heavy-duty flexplates for high performance and competition engines are constructed from a thicker-than-stock steel plate. This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-rpm engines. While factory stock plates tend to crack around the crankshaft hub when punished under high-torque and rpm conditions, the thicker Hays flexplates can handle the force. These heavy-duty flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place. All Hays heavy-duty flexplates are zinc-dichromate plated to resist corrosion and SFI-certified under specification 29.1.

These discs are cork-based products impregnated with aluminum particles to increase wear life and heat resistance. These clutch plates are compressed to avoid swell and clutch drag and feature an ideal general-purpose replacement material for all grades and sizes of motorcycles. New EBC CSK clutch springs prevent damage from prolonged exposure to heat and wear. They are OEM upgrades and are 10 percent stiffer than stock. The lever will be slightly stiffer which can wear your hand out riding in heavy traffic, but in return the clutch engages smoother and faster with the stiffer springs making takeoff smooth and shifting faster and less effort to speed shift.
