The Driveshaft Shop Driveshafts
Factory driveshafts are made from a smaller tube (there are 2 different types) and will flex and bend during hard acceleration, causing the rubber drives to wear out prematurely. The Driveshaft Shop torque tube driveshafts are made from T-6 aluminum and uses The Driveshaft's own custom machined ends. RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits are precision-balanced for smooth operation—and come equipped with a billet cover for optimum release length, a comfortable pedal effort, and a high diaphragm finger position for excellent high-RPM shifting capability. The sprung hub top disc absorbs shock and reduces driveline noise. Pro Street kits are available with your choice of an organic friction disc or a metallic disc. Organic disc models are capable of handling 500 to 800 hp; the metallic disc models can handle between 600 and 1,200 hp. RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits include a billet aluminum, SFI-certified flywheel with a steel insert that has sufficient mass to draw heat away from the clutch without distortion.
