These Performer RPM Chrysler Magnum heads give substantial performance improvements for street/strip and off-road performance use. They offer an easy bolt-on engine upgrade with substantial out-of-the-box performance gains. Stock Magnum intake and exhaust flange and port locations make these heads an ideal choice for use with stock equipment as well as the new RPM Air-Gap manifold. These heads feature a slight increase in compression over the factory heads, offer more flow than stock, and accept adjustable aftermarket rocker arms. A 4x4 and traction go hand-in-hand; however, standard (open) differentials allow each wheel to turn independently to eliminate binding in turns. Off-road, this becomes a problem as engine power takes the path of least resistance—to the wheel with little or no traction. Limited slip differentials offer some improvement, but too often the slipping is not "limited" enough to maintain forward progress. Automatic locking differentials also have disadvantages; noisy when disengaging, they can also upset on-highway driving characteristics. Created to provide traction on demand, without sacrificing highway driving performance, ARB Air Locker differentials employ a 12 V ARB air compressor (sold separately) to pneumatically operate a solid and durable locking mechanism inside the differential. When activated, the Air Locker prevents the differential gears from rotating and the axle shafts from turning independently of each other. With both wheels tied directly to the rotation of the ring gear, the vehicle maintains maximum possible traction at all times. When unlocked, it operates just like a conventional open differential. ARB Air Lockers are available in over 100 configurations for a wide range of vehicles and can be installed in both front and rear axles. Installation should be performed by a qualified differential technician, although no special tools or skills are required, apart from those necessary for fitting a standard differential. ARB also offers three compressor models suitable for Air Locker operation, two of which can be used to inflate tires and operate other equipment. BD Engine Brakes enable your diesel to navigate downhill grades and mountainous terrain easier and safer than the vehicle's conventional braking system. This will increase the life of the stock foundation brakes and prevent brake fade under severe-grade driving. The factory-approved backpressure provides the retarding horsepower to slow down the vehicle on even the steepest descents, or just for a highway off-ramp. The exhaust flow is not restricted when the stainless butterfly is open in the large 4 in. casting that bolts into the exhaust system. The kits come with a lighted toggle switch for mounting conveniently on the dash. The brake releases as soon as the throttle is applied or the switch is flipped off. As with other BD designs, the backpressure is self-regulating. Once the pressure reaches specification, the butterfly position changes to maintain the highest pressure possible. In diesel engines, the effect of these Snow Performance Stage-3 Diesel water/methanol injection systems is threefold: 1. The intercooling effect provides more available air and all the benefits of a higher positive pressure ratio (more power-giving fuel can be utilized safely without high-combustion temperatures); 2.
