Twisted Wedge® 11R 227 cylinder heads represent Trick Flow's ultimate development of the Twisted Wedge® innovation, featuring Trick Flow's most efficient combustion chamber design. The combustion chamber and valve layout move the intake valves away from the cylinder walls to reduce valve shrouding, significantly improving flow at higher lift. Shallow 11° intake/13° exhaust valve angles improve piston-to-valve clearance for high lift cams and reduce chamber volume for improved compression and efficiency. High velocity runners are optimized on the flow bench and dyno proven to outperform the competition on hydraulic roller camshaft engines. Premium materials and components, along with world-class CNC processes, guarantee uncompromising quality and durability, dimensional accuracy, and balanced flow from port-to-port. Machined castings increase strength and have a billet-like appearance. Additional features include CNC-profiled combustion chambers, 2.080"/1.600" stainless steel intake/exhaust valves, Trick Flow® by PAC Racing valve springs, and titanium retainers. Trick Flow High Port® 240 cylinder heads are specifically designed for large cubic inch small block Ford engines as well as engines with high-boost super- and turbocharges, big shot nitrous oxide systems, and other mega-power combinations. They feature unique valve spacing, .750" raised exhaust runners, extra strong castings and thick decks for additional rigidity and gasket integrity, superior cooling characteristics, and most importantly, excellent airflow. Top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners with a high resolution surface finish provide maximum airflow and power over the entire rpm range. The entry into the intake runner has been reshaped to help seal the area along the port roof and thicker port walls increase strength and provide more material for porting. Plus, interlocking ductile iron seats are used to handle the stresses of high heat, high horsepower applications. Other features include fully CNC-profiled combustion chambers with port-to-valve seat blending (bowl blending) and raised valve cover rails.

All Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads feature threaded inserts in the rocker studs and exhaust manifold bolt holes for superior strength and durability. They also include hardened seats, bronze valve guides, and fully machined valve cover rails for a more consistent gasket seal. Designed for 396-502 c.i.d. big block Chevy engines, these Edelbrock cylinder heads include heavy-duty exhaust valves that provide the added durability needed for marine applications, and have one-piece, stainless steel intake valves with hardened tips and swirl-polished heads. The high-velocity flow capabilities of Edelbrock Performer RPM cylinder heads provide increased torque across a wide rpm range that's ideal for marine use. They're cast from A356 aluminum and heat-treated to T6 specs. Their oval-port heads have 110cc chambers and their rectangular port heads have 118cc chambers. Both the oval and rectangular port heads are hard-anodized to protect the aluminum in the harsh marine environments.
