FTI Performance TH400 Level 4.5 transmissions begin with a race-prepped factory Chevy case—and end up rated up to 1,100 hp. Each professionally hand-built case includes a short shaft, a billet aluminum drum and forward clutch hub, a 34-element sprague, and race material clutches. An FTI billet aluminum trans-brake with a full manual reverse valve body is stout enough to handle major power and keeps reverse and first gears closely knit. The included deep aluminum pan allows more fluid capacity for increased cooling, while the 300M input shaft provides amazing strength. FTI Performance TH400 Level 4 transmissions feature a full manual valve body equipped with a transbrake for the ultimate drag racer. They make an excellent choice for weekend bracket racers, high-powered street cars, and mud trucks. The transmissions have: a 34-element intermediate sprag, performance clutches and steels, high-flow pump, race-prepped stock case, deep aluminum pan, billet forward clutch hub, heavy-duty intermediate retainer, and a 4-clutch intermediate pack. Some models are compatible with Ultra Bell bellhousings.
