AFR 357cc Magnum BBC Cylinder Heads

If huge horsepower is what you are searching for, AFR 357cc Magnum aluminum cylinder heads will certainly deliver. With AFR's fully CNC-ported 357cc heads flowing 425 cfm, they represent the ultimate in airflow for your big block Chevrolet. These cylinder heads were targeted at larger cu. in. engines (509-632 c.i.d.) looking for maximum horsepower and rpm capabilities with a primary operating range of 3,500-8,000 rpm (this range is an average and will vary with engine displacement and component selection). These aluminum heads also provide impressive torque figures at higher rpm levels. Blown, turbo, and nitrous engines will especially like the larger, higher flowing intake ports. AFR 357cc Magnum BBC cylinder heads will work best with camshafts exceeding 0.750 in. gross valve lift to make better use of the substantial airflow found in the higher lift range. The AFR 357cc heads come standard with AFR's trademark 3/4 in. thick cylinder head deck, reinforced rocker stud bosses, and premium one-piece stainless steel 2.300 in. intake and 1.880 in. exhaust valves. The AFR's fully CNC-ported 357 heads come with a 121cc chamber and are available with an optional 114cc combustion chamber as well. Order the cylinder head model suited to your needs.

Scat engine rotating assemblies are available with either a high-quality Scat forged 4340 crankshaft or Scat's Series 9000 cast crankshaft, plus I-beam or H-beam connecting rods with 7/16 in. or 3/8 in. cap screw bolts. For maximum power and reliability, Scat adds rod and main bearings from King, Federal Mogul, or Clevite 77, depending upon the application—and pistons and piston rings made by such well-known manufacturers as SRP/JE, Ross, KB, Mahle, Diamond, and Probe. Kits with cast and standard forged pistons have standard rings; kits with premium forged pistons have file-fit rings. Nearly 800 Scat kits are available; order the package tailored for fitment with your engine application.
