MechMan High-Output Racing Alternators
MechMan 6-phase hairpin high-output alternators offer a solution to the inadequate alternators that come from the factory on specified vehicles. These replacement units feature twin rectifiers with 12 massive press-fit diodes, as compared to the small 8-diode rectifier in the stock alternator. Even mild performance builds will typically consume more amperage than what stock alternators can provide. Hairpin stator technology provides better high-rpm durability and better resistance to heat from the turbo manifold. The alternators utilize a high rpm-friendly larger diameter pulley, and bolt directly in place of the original equipment. Select the high-output racing alternator model recommended for your application. Note: A 4-gauge or larger positive and negative cable needs to be run between the alternator and the battery terminals for proper function.

MSD Pro-Billet Crank Trigger Distributors
MSD Pro-Billet crank distributors are built specifically for racing engines with almost no room for a distributor, due to tunnel rams or blowers. These units are equipped with a special low-profile crab-style distributor cap, allowing them to fit into extremely tight areas. The housing features two optional O-rings at the bottom that improves oil control by preventing oil pressure loss. Also, a small oil bleed hole (located in the base) sprays oil on the distributor and camshaft gears to prevent excessive wear. Since these are racing distributors, there is an adjustable slip collar to make up for engines that have had the distance between the mounting surface and the gear modified. Crowning the Pro-Billet crank distributor is MSD's own crab cap. This incorporates spark plug-style terminals for a better connection and grip to the plug wires. Order the model recommended for your vehicle and engine application.
