TCI 4x Four-Speed GM automatic transmission packages for externally balanced small block Fords allow you to bolt up your Ford engine to TCI's 4x Four-Speed electronically controlled 4L80E-based transmission or their non-electronic 700R4-based transmission. Bolting right up to your engine like a stock transmission, they make it easy to adapt either of these proven transmissions to any compatible engine by including the exact bellhousing, a special adapter flexplate, pilot adapter, dipstick, and other accessories in a complete package. GearStar GM 4L85E Level 5 Pro Series Transmissions

GearStar GM 4L85E Level 5 Pro Series transmissions come with a custom billet Yank Performance multi-disk lockup torque converter. These transmissions feature a Reid Racing SFI 4.1 certified transmission case, and Reid Racing SFI 30.1 certified bellhousing for either Chevrolet, Ford small block, Ford modular, or Mopar small block/ Gen III Hemi applications. They also include a Reid Racing tailhousing for either a bushing or bearing depending on your application. Each transmission is rated for applications that are making up to 2,000 crank horsepower or 1,900-foot-pounds of torque. Level 5 Pro Series units feature: heavy-duty 5-pinion front and rear planetary gear sets, billet direct drum with a 36-element oversized sprag, upgraded input, main, and output shafts, extra capacity 2nd gear clutch assembly, extra capacity 3rd gear super drum with wide heavy-duty sprag and modified plates, custom machined billet forward and direct drum pistons, and a Transgo valve body reprogramming shift kit with shift command. These units come with all new electrics, including the wiring harness, all sensors and solenoids—along with all new bushings, bearings, and seals. Every transmission is assembled by one of GearStar's five expert builders. The transmission packages arrive dyno tested with 100 miles already on the product, which means the break-in procedure has been done and they're ready to go!
