Rugged Ridge heavy-duty steering kits beef up your Jeep. Bolt-on solutions for preventing bent tie rods from wheeling with larger tires, they are SAE 1018 steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a heavy wall thickness with no seams or welds to fail. They feature heavy-duty rod ends with standard tapered ends to fit stock knuckle applications. The Rugged Ridge crossover steering conversion kits replace the bump-steer prone inverted Y-type steering system, connecting the drag link to the end of the tie rod at the wheel, giving a better steering angle and better leverage. If your vehicle is lifted a crossover steering system is a must!
