Sportsman lifters have polished 8620 heat-treated bodies and are assembled with bronze bushing cam rollers. COMP Cams Shaft Mount Aluminum Rocker Arms
COMP Cams shaft mount aluminum rocker arms are one of the most cost-effective ways to increase horsepower. These shaft rockers were designed using the latest in computer software and engineering. They center the roller tip over the valve tip at the correct time so that the roller tip is never more than 0.020 in. off-center of the valve tip. At the greatest load point, the roller tip contact is on the center of the valve. At valve closing, the roller tip contact is slightly behind the valve centerline. When the valve is at full open, the tip contact is slightly behind the centerline of the valve. The results are more horsepower and better performance.

COMP Cams Race XD mechanical roller lifters are strong, durable, and versatile. They feature a lightweight modular design with interchangeable pushrod seats. Available in medium or large offsets with left or right placement, Race XD lifters are configurable to clear the most extreme intake angles. Two finishes are offered: REM finished bodies create an extra-smooth surface for reduced lifter body and bore wear; and the DLC-coated bodies further minimize friction for the ultimate in durability. For excellent strength in extreme operating conditions, COMP Cams also enhances their Race XD lifters with a proprietary bronze alloy roller wheel bushing and an oversized captured link bar to connect the individual lifters. Manley Titanium Valves
Manley titanium valves feature forged one-piece construction with grain flow, not a head welded to a stem. These jewel-like valves are machined in state-of-the-art CNC turning centers and valve stem grinders to exacting tolerances. Manley utilizes the finest titanium alloys for both the intakes and exhausts, providing the best balance of mechanical properties, hardness, ductility, and fatigue strength at the given temperatures. All Manley titanium valves must pass their rigorous final inspection process, and strict quality control enables them to deliver parts within tight tolerance. Custom valves can be delivered within a very reasonable turnaround time. Seat coatings are also available on certain shelf stock part numbers, as well as on custom valves.
