Why start your engine build with a dirty, old, worn-out production block that needs hundreds or thousands of dollars of machine work--when you can start with a new heavy-duty casting full of high-performance features. We ship these blocks mostly finished but leave the cylinder bore .005" undersize, your machine shop will have to hone them for proper size. These billet serpentine systems are easy to install, budget friendly, and styled just right. Summit serpentine belt systems start with a CNC-machined, 1/2 in. thick, 6061 T6 billet aluminum face plate, which has positive belt adjusting holes for both the alternator and A/C pump, plus beveled edges and a machined Summit logo. You also get CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum crank, water pump, alternator, power steering, and clutch cover pulleys, plus a chrome 105 or 140 Amp alternator, a chrome Sanden SD-7 A/C compressor with manifold lines (as noted), an as-cast aluminum GM Type 2 power steering pump (as noted), an as-cast GM high-flow water pump, a serpentine belt, and all the mounting hardware you need. It might look fancy, but adjustments are easy, all you need is a pinch bar and a socket wrench.
