Speedtech Performance USA Tubular Lower Control Arms
Stamped steel factory lower control arm assemblies do a great job of keeping the car off the ground. Outside of that, they don't do much for your car's performance. Speedtech Performance USA tubular lower control arms are designed to meet and exceed the needs of your performance automobile. Their tubular construction dramatically increases strength in a lighter weight design, and the included Delrin bushings offer strength and longevity without the flex of rubber or squeak of polyurethane. Swivel link sway bar mounts allow for articulation without bind; while urethane bump stops, heavy-duty ball joints and Grade 8 hardware complete the package, helping boost your car to a greater the performance level. These control arms are constructed from CNC mandrel-bent 1.50 in. diameter, .156 in. wall DOM tubing. All components are laser-cut and CNC-machined for exact tolerances, welded together, and then powdercoated gloss black.

Speedtech Performance USA offers tubular sway bar kits for a variety of classic car applications. They're available in different styles, such as: * For Factory Style Suspension: Larger, higher spring rate sway bars are among the easiest, most cost-effective ways to improve the cornering and handling performance of your Camaro or Firebird. Engineered specifically to fit the 1970-81 F-body GM subframe and leaf spring rear suspension, Speedtech sway bars utilize high-strength tubular DOM steel to maximize performance at up to half the weight of a solid bar. All bends are performed on computer-controlled tubing benders to provide consistent bends in a sway bar that fits right every time. Quality shows in the details, such as end treatments that taper smoothly from round to flat to eliminate stress risers, while ends are radiused for a clean appearance and better clearance. All sway bars come powdercoated gloss black and include all-new mounting hardware and bushings. * For Torque Arm Rear Suspensions: For most average Pro Touring Camaros seeing only occasional track days, the Torque Arm performs flawlessly even without a rear sway bar. For those who will hit the track more often and run either the Speedtech ExtReme front subframe or a fairly large sway bar on a Pro Touring or GM subframe, consider adding the Torque Arm rear sway bar kit to further enhance your car's handling. This bar is a frame-mounted, tubular type 7/8 in. bar that is 3-way adjustable for 138, 170, and 215 lb. spring rates—and is sized and shaped to clear the Speedtech torque arm assembly.
