Both the 350 and 400 Series accept oversize valves (the intake pocket is 2.255 in. and the exhaust pocket is 1.870 in.) and long-duration, tight lobe separation cams. Ring grooves are precision-machined for .043, .043, 3.0mm backcut rings with lateral gas ports for a superior ring seal.

Up to 70 grams lighter than traditional "full round" pistons (including wrist pins and rings), these hollow dome gas-ported pistons are also stronger and more durable due to modern FEA-designed forging. They feature accumulator grooves, contact reduction grooves, double pin oilers, lateral gas ports, and deeper valve pockets to accommodate higher lift cams and milled cylinder heads.
