AFR Stage 2 Camshafts

Air Flow Research (AFR), the authority in high performance CNC cylinder heads for over 55 years, is proud to introduce its latest innovations: Custom camshafts for the small block Chevy. Specifically developed to unleash the full potential of AFR's Eliminator CNC and Enforcer As-Cast cylinder heads, the camshafts deliver race-ready gains in a drop-in solution, backed by real-world dyno testing. Crafted in partnership with Andrews Products, a name synonymous with championship camshaft innovation and precision grind quality, these new profiles extend AFR's mission to give American muscle cars the power they deserve. Key benefits: * Upgraded to industry-preferred 8620 steel for superior strength and durability * Ideal for high-RPM builds, power adder applications, and aggressive street use * Exceptional wear resistance for long-term valvetrain stability * Improved core hardness allows for more precise and consistent grinds * Excellent response to heat-treating for a hardened surface without sacrificing ductility * Trusted in top-tier racing environments—now included in every AFR camshaft Stage 2 Camshaft specs: * Cam style: Retro Fit hydraulic roller (OE roller blocks 1987-2003 require the use of a cam button) * Camshaft use: Strip/high-RPM * Camshaft manufacturers description: The AFR camshaft was developed to pair perfectly with AFR's Eliminator CNC cylinder heads. Ideal for high-RPM, track focused engines * Intake duration at .050-inch lift: 23X/23X * Valve lift with factory 1.5 rocker arm ratio: 0.54X intake/0.54X exhaust *Valve lift with factory 1.6 rocker arm ratio: 0.58X intake/.058X exhaust * Lobe separation (degrees): 112 * Camshaft gear attachment: 3-bolt * Computer-controlled compatible: Yes * Valve springs required: Yes
