RideTech subframes deliver several key improvements over the original and some existing aftermarket subframes. Ridetech 1968-72 GM X-Body Coilover Suspension Systems
Ridetech 1968-72 GM X-body coilover suspension systems include everything you need to completely upgrade your existing suspension. They contain front upper and lower control arms, tall spindles, front MUSCLEBar, a rear 4-Link, and four HQ Series coilovers for every corner of your vehicle. The Ridetech tall spindles will induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. They also offer a 2 in. pin drop, which allows for the use of longer shocks—creating more suspension travel. The bolt-on 4-link vastly improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation doesn't require any major modifications to the floor pan and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube (works with mini tubs). The R-joint rod ends combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing. Ridetech 1968-72 GM X-body coilover suspension systems are as comfortable on the street as they are on the racetrack! Detroit Speed Hydroformed Subframes
Detroit Speed hydroformed subframes are bolt-in replacements for the original stock subframe. They're designed to improve the handling and ride quality by utilizing Detroit Speed's unique suspension geometry. These are the only subframes in the aftermarket industry with hydroformed frame rails—which offer strength and stiffness, precise quality, and repeatability.
