Holley Ford Mid-Mount Accessory Drive Systems
Holley's mid-mount accessory drives are available for small-block Ford engines. These systems have all accessories pulled in tighter than other accessory drives. At their heart is a "bracket-less" mounting design—the accessories mount directly to a uniquely designed timing cover for a clean, integrated form. This product offers superb engine visibility to show off your engine, not unsightly accessory brackets. The premium alternator utilizes 6-phase technology as found on the C7 Corvette and only requires a one-wire hookup. The water pump cartridge also shares its design efficiencies with that of the C7 Corvette. A compact and reliable SD7 A/C compressor and Type II power steering pump with baffled reservoir are also integrated. This system design provides two heater hose return port locations (upper top and passenger-side low). The mid-mount system comes complete with everything you need: the water pump, A/C compressor, alternator, and power steering pump with reservoir. All pulleys and the belt are supplied, along with heater hose adapters, power steering to-6 AN hardline, and the alternator plug/harness. Color graphical instructions walk you through every step for an easy installation. Systems are available with a natural or black finish. Features and benefits: * Bracket-less accessory mounting integrated with supplied front timing cover assembly means this kit will work on all block deck heights * Water pump inlet pipe mounts for either driver or passenger side lower radiator hose routing; timing cover also has mounting for driver or passenger side ignition timing pointers to accommodate all needs * Two return heater hose ports (upper center and pass-side low) with hose adapter/port plug included for a complete solution * Crankshaft belt pulley configured for 3 or 4-bolt crank dampers; spacer P/Ns 97-446, 97-447, or 97-448 are available for purchase to adjust for different OE crank damper pulley flange depths * Power steering may be deleted with a drivebelt change; see installation instructions for the commonly available drive belt required * A mechanical fuel pump may be used with this kit. Scott Drake Power Steering Pulleys
Scott Drake billet aluminum power steering pump pulleys are designed to work exclusively on Ford power steering pumps. Depending on the year and engine size, Ford offered 2 different diameter pulleys, a 5 in. and 5.5 in. Be sure to measure your original pulley to get the right diameter. They are interchangeable and both will work for just about any application. The larger 5.5 in. diameter version is best suited for high-rpm operation as it will help protect the pump. The smaller 5 in. version provides more power assist at low-rpm especially idle but not ideal for racing or high-rpms.
