Bob Drake Motor Mounts
While Bob Drake's motor mounts are designed "Ford Tuff" to secure the motor, they are also flexible enough to ensure vibration-free comfort. The upper cushion features soft rubber between the ring and shoulder washer to act as a shock absorber, as original Ford specifications called for, while the lower cushion has a metal shoulder washer for better alignment in cup. In addition to that, Bob Drake mounts are the only ones to proudly wear the "Ford" script. Helix Solid Axle Shocks
Helix solid axle shocks are nitrogen gas charged shocks precision engineered for long life and improved performance over the standard "name brand" shocks. They feature a valving system with a 1 3/4 in. reserve tube that allows better fluid transfer, thus better performance. This means not only a better ride, but also sport shock-like handling when needed due to the extra reserve chamber, which allows the shock to stiffen when conditions demand it. Designed especially for hot rod use, they feature hard chrome non-rust shafts, along with superior dampening and rebound.
