The E-Stopp units will work with any kind of braking system that can accept an emergency brake cable; and they mount anywhere there's room on the chassis. E-Stopp push-button electric emergency brakes are controlled by a microcomputer that regulates the amount of pull--they will only pull up to 600 lbs. before they're locked down. The button has a detachable head for easy install, and allows both visual and audible recognition. Also included is a patented ignition safety feature that renders the brake inoperable while the ignition is on. E-Stopp recently added another ground sync wire that can be hooked up to the parking symbol light on your dashboard. Again, this system can be used as a theft deterrent by hiding the e-brake button under the dash or in the glove compartment, or by installing a kill switch.
