These Sonnax billet forward clutch pistons improve forward clutch piston strength and durability by using billet aluminum—and they're made with additional contours at points of high stress. These rebuild components can be used individually or with Sonnax input housing reinforcement sleeve kits. No alterations or fabrication is needed to use them in conjunction with aluminum overrun pistons. Sonnax billet forward clutch pistons can be used in both early and late model automatic transmissions, as noted in the application.
