This product is not for use on structural components such as pillars, frame rails, core supports, or rocker panels.

Single Step primers promote urethane adhesion to automotive glass, paint primers, encapsulated parts, and pre-applied adhesive systems, while protecting the urethane from harmful ultraviolet rays. This primer can also be used to touch-up scratches on the pinchweld and prevent corrosion from occurring over time. 3M Products Single Step primers do not need an activator; they do, however, need to be used within one week of being opened, as moisture and other contaminates can cause the primer to become less effective.

Specifically designed for the auto body industry, 3M Products self-leveling seam sealer is typically used to replace roof division channel sealers. It uses flexible, 2-part epoxy technology to reliably seal seams in properly prepared metal enclosures in auto bodies. This sealer offers a work time of approximately eight minutes and can be painted in 15 minutes. It is not recommended for the repair of vessels designed to contain liquids or liquids under pressure.
