Sonnax TCC regulator and isolator valve kits assist in recovering hydraulic control and renew TCC performance. Severe wear of the TCC (torque convertor clutch) regulator valve bore, caused by oscillation of the OE valve, allows the regulated converter to apply pressure to your exhaust. This is a primary cause for TCC-related slip code and overheated converters. Exhaust pressure also diminishes line pressure, which can result in burnt clutches. Excess wear at the isolator valve bore reduces TCC apply pressure. Reconditioning the bore and installing a Sonnax TCC regulator and isolator valve kit will restore normal TCC operation by reestablishing the hydraulic integrity of this circuit. Sonnax actuator feed limit valve kits eliminates problems with the OE AFL valve design in GM 4L60-E, 4L65-E and 4L70-E units. OE designs have a large reaction area and are highly affected by side loading which wears the valve body bore, resulting in lower oil pressure to the shift solenoid and lower line pressures. Sonnax kits include a redesigned AFL valve and a wear-resistant sleeve to regulate pressure and re-establish proper pressure control. The hardcoat anodized aluminum valve features annular grooves to prevent side loading and has 54 percent more support by operating in the full contact sleeve. Sonnax kits include valve, sleeve, spring, and retaining clip.

It is formulated with select base oils and additives to meet the heavy demands placed on automatic transmissions, including the latest generation of electronically controlled transmissions. ACDelco Type III-H is recommended in any transmission that calls for Type III-H, Type III-G, Type II-E, Type II, or Type A fluids in all automatic transmissions built by GM that do not require DEXRON VI. Continuous oscillation in relay valve and sequence valve bore causes wear that prevents proper hydraulic control. You can recover hydraulic control and renew 2nd and 4th gear operation by reconditioning the entire bore and installing a Sonnax oversized 4-3 sequence valve kit. These kits address wear on the inboard two spools that is increasingly more common in aging valve bodies. Wearing at these spools can allow valuable 4th servo feed leakage, resulting in no 4th and 2-4 band wear, and can also allow leakage of 2nd clutch oil needed to apply the 2-4 band in 2nd gear, resulting in poor 2nd gear shifts. Leaking at the OE end plug also allows oil loss that can leave 4th gear inoperable. Sonnax oversized 4-3 sequence valve kits feature hardcoat anodized aluminum valves to combat premature wear and O-ringed end plugs to help prevent 4th gear oil loss.
