A defective thermostat can result in engine overheating and potential internal damage. Improve the reliability of your Toyota cooling system with a Mishimoto Low-Temperature Racing Thermostat and housing! They're designed as a direct-fit replacement for your aging stock unit. The Mishimoto thermostats have a lower activation temperature (71 degrees C/160 degrees F) compared to the factory thermostat (82 degrees C/180 degrees F).
