Mishimoto offers exhaust manifold stud kits for a variety of applications, including Cummins diesel inline 6-cylinder engines found on many Dodge and Ram trucks from 1994 and up. Machined from chromium-infused alloy steel for strength and corrosion resistance, these bolts are designed to increase the clamping force between the manifold and cylinder head—effectively minimizing the risk of boost-killing leaks and reducing the likelihood of manifold warpage. Anyone who has attempted to grapple a heavy manifold and turbocharger with one hand while attempting to line up a bolt hole with the other will appreciate the ease and convenience these stud kits provide. Over time, harmful oil will build up inside of the turbocharger, intake manifold, intercooler, and piping. These Mishimoto oil catch cans are designed to help prevent this from happening. By sending the extra oil to the cans, it will stay out of the pressured turbo plumbing, which can lead to couplers coming off under boost. They will also make sure that oil vapors stay out of the intake system, which will help combustion temperatures and reduce overall efficiency.
