Daytona Twin Tec Twin Scan II ABS tools will help keep your Harley® healthy. The units will read and clear diagnostic trouble codes from your engine control module (ECM), turn signal/security module (TSM/TSSM), speedometer, tach, and anti-skid braking system (ABS). These compact, low-cost "doctors" are especially skilled in diagnosing hard-to-find, intermittent trouble codes. Twin Scan II ABS scan tools also have brake bleeding capabilities and built-in data logging. Your motorcycle can be operated while the units are installed, and under normal conditions (no trouble codes), the units will store data for the last hour of operation. If a trouble code is set, the units automatically stops logging data 30 minutes after the code is set, allowing you to examine data before and after--even days later. These kits help prevent heat-related internal ignition failures by relocating heat-sensitive components away from engine heat. Daytona Twin Tec's TC88A-EX ignition kit 3088 includes: 1009-EX/TC88A-EX ignition module, 2008 coil, 3002 wires, and 18014 USB interface. Components are a direct-fit, plug-and-play for all 2004-06 carbureted Harley-Davidson© Twin Cam 88 engines and Sportsters. Product details: * Compatible with all aftermarket tachometers * Built-in data logging, stores the last 30 minutes of operation * Easy to access and adjust the four rotary config switches * Supports all OE sensors, including the instrument cluster, turn signal/security module (TSM/TSSM) and the J1850 data bus * Wide timing advance adjustment range accommodates stock to highly modified engines * Digitally set RPM limit (100 rpm steps from 3000-9900 rpm) * Coil outputs protected against short circuits * Extensive diagnostics * Billet aluminum housing with black anodized finish Additional notes: * Twin Cam engines utilize a non-adjustable crankshaft position sensor. This means that mechanical timing adjustments are no longer possible. The 1009/TC88A allows you to adjust your initial timing +/- 4 degrees using a rotary switch. A second switch sets the advance curve slope. The combination of these two switches allows the user to optimize the timing advance for a wide range of applications, from stock to highly modified engines. * The 1009/TC88A also features built-in data logging that stores data in an endless loop for the last 30 minutes of engine operation—including RPM, vehicle speed, manifold pressure, ignition advance, and battery voltage. Engine builders will find the data logging feature highly useful for tuning, diagnosing problems, and reducing unjustified warranty claims. * Like the H-D© OE module, the TC88A sends RPM data to the OE tachometer over the J1850 data bus. TC88A units also provide an optional 12 V square wave tach signal (one pulse per revolution) that is compatible with most tachometers intended for 1999-2003 Twin Cam 88 applications. This allows you to retrofit a wide range of tachometers to newer 2004-06 models.

Your Harley® will run much better with Daytona Twin Tec Model 1005 internal ignition kits versus the older solid-state points eliminator that relied on the mechanical advance flyweights and all that. The "race mode" settings are awesome! They'll wake up your old bike. The advance curve network with adjustable advance slopes will accommodate stock to highly modified engines. You can digitally set the rpm limit, select single or dual fire mode, and multi-spark mode for quick starting and smooth cruising. An optional USB interface and software for programming custom advance curves are available.
