FiTech Go-Spark Ready-To-Run distributors have a built-in module for easy installation with a simple 3-wire hook up, negating the need to run an external ignition control box. They are perfect distributors for a crate engine or when replacing an old points-triggered distributor. Each one features a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 aluminum housing with a centerless ground shaft. The shaft rides on an upper sealed roller bearing with an extended length lower bronze Oil-Lite bushing for smooth operation at high rpms and extended service life. A high-output magnetic pickup and large paddle wheel reluctor provides a strong trigger signal at high rpms, while the built-in high performance inductive storage module supplies unrivaled energy to the coil ensuring maximum performance at all rpm levels. MSD Pro-Billet Street distributors are a popular choice for those who desire race-proven performance for their street machine. A vacuum advance canister provides improved economy, and the proven MSD mechanical advance mechanism allows you to dial in a timing curve to fit your needs. As always, an advance kit of springs and stop bushings is included. The housing features an all-billet 6061-T6 aluminum design for accuracy to within .001 in. An oversized steel shaft is QPQ-coated for low friction, and rides in sealed ball bearings at the top and bottom of the distributor. An extra-long sintered bushing replaces the ball bearing at the bottom for Chevrolet models. This combination keeps the shaft steady, creating accurate spark delivery at any rpm. They rely on a magnetic pickup to trigger the MSD ignition control, which delivers the powerful sparks to the coil. This pickup is extremely accurate and never needs adjusting. Pro-Billet Street distributors require the use of a separate ignition box, such as an MSD 6, 7, 8, or 10 Series ignition. Order the model recommended for your vehicle and engine application.

Everything that you need to super-tune your pickup, van, or SUV is in there, including a custom-fit wire set, a distributor cap and rotor, and C-Cut performance spark plugs. Most kits include the 8mm Extreme 9000 wire sets, which feature a low-resistance Ferro-Spiral core and heat-reflective coated spark plug boots rated to 1,200 degrees F. Some inline 6-cylinder applications use the 5000 Series wire sets where extreme heat is not a problem. The distributor cap and rotor are precision-molded from impact-resistant, high-dielectric strength compounds and have brass or copper inserts (depending upon your application) and stainless steel contact springs. The premium-grade, silicone spark plug boots provide superior connection protection from dielectric leakage, moisture, dirt, and other chemical contaminants. High dielectric strength EPDM or premium-grade silicone distributor/coil boots provide excellent resistance to flashover and crossfire and protect the distributor cap and coil tower connections.
