EMAX Piston Compressor with Dryer Bundles

Available in several cfm, voltage, and phase combinations, EMAX piston compressor with dryer bundles take the guess work out of pairing a refrigerated dryer with a compressor. At the core of all EMAX compressors are their durable, quiet pumps. They start with cast iron crankcases and precision-balanced, cast iron crankshafts with stainless steel roller bearings for smooth operation, less drag, and lower energy use. Pump rpm is critical to performance and longevity, so EMAX pumps are over-size and run at lower rpm. They still yield high-cfm outputs and the lower rpm reduces friction and heat. EMAX's raised pump platforms elevate the pump for a constant flow of cool air from the flywheel fan to the underside of the crankcase. The cooler oil pulls heat off the pistons and connecting rods--reducing wear and extending pump life. Other pump features include: * Rebuildable steel connecting rods with replaceable rod bearing inserts * Removable solid cast iron cylinders * Cast iron cylinder heads * Disc intake and exhaust valves, come out of the top of the cylinder heads and can be serviced in minutes * Top-quality compression and oil rings * Precision-ground pistons * Premium non-absorbent gaskets * Cast iron flywheels with built-in fans * Built-in head unloaders reduce internal pump heat under heavy workloads * Integral intercoolers and aftercoolers * Copper main feed line EMAX piston bundle packages include name brand, industrial-grade, 1,750 rpm motors … most competitors use 3,450 rpm motors. With their higher torque factor, 1,750 rpm motors run much cooler with low harmonic distortion, provide significantly more torque for cold weather starting, and require less electricity to start. Higher cfm models use totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motors that keep harmful dust and particulate out of the interior of the motor for worry-free use in dusty commercial and industrial environments. EMAX bundles are equipped with either a pre-wired Condor combination starter and pressure switch, or a pre-wired magnetic starter--necessary for any motor over 15 amps. Under some applications, compressors cycle on and off constantly; causing excess wear on the contacts. EMAX includes a continuous-run feature for workloads over a 50–60 percent duty cycle. With lower workloads, automatic start/stop operation is best. Additional features of EMAX piston compressors include: * Proprietary automatic belt tensioners for easy and quick adjustment * ASME code-compliant air tanks * Automatic tank drains with integrated dual timers * Top-quality, adjustable pressure switches * Brass check valves with PTFE seating * Brass ASME-approved safety valves * Quality plumbing fittings maintain proper sealing * Brass, high-quality ball valves for air receiver * Front-mounted, extended tank water drain pipes with 1/4 in. ball valves * 13-gauge, expanded metal, OSHA-approved belt guards * Taper-lock style, 2-groove pulleys with dual 2-groove, B-style belts drive compressor pumps EMAX air dryers are energy-efficient dryer systems with refrigerated, non-corrosive inner and aftercoolers and stainless steel heat exchangers. They purify compressed air by chilling it to condense moisture; the condensate is drained away carrying oil and dirt with it. The clean, dry, compressed air minimizes maintenance and repairs; it also reduces internal dryer contamination. UL and CSA-approved with an adjustable hot bypass to avoid without freeze-up.
